Globsyn Technologies Limited (GTL) started operations in 1997 in Kolkata by deploying a Center of IBM Software Excellence, the only one in South Asia, in association with IBM. It was one of the few organizations in India that realized the potential of the Internet and started investing early in developing the capability and resources in Internet technologies. In less than a year, Globsyn had bagged and executed a number of projects that entailed migrating or web-enabling legacy applications while other companies were executing short-term Y2K conversion projects. A driving need to continuously improve Quality of Service led to achievement of ISO 9001 certification within 14 months of inception.  

In 2006, Globsyn acquired GlobsynInfotech (formerly Synergy Log In) a company specializing in the area of providing IT solutions for the Banking and Financial Services domain since the last 15 years has a strong distributorship with BankServ International. BankServ International is the largest independent provider of SWIFT accredited CBT's with their cost effective SWIFT interface offering "TurboSWIFT". In 1995 Globsyn infotech Log-In launched a PC-based SWIFT Connectivity Solution from its business partner for the first time in India. Today, TurboSWIFT from BankServ International, California, US is a well-accepted web enabled SWIFT interface already installed in several banks and their branches in India.
