The developed site is tested and integrated at the customer’s base with their existing application by Partsearch Technologies once it is successfully tested at Globsyn’s offshore development center and is then delivered to the Client Base. The entire project is implemented on a On-site-Off-shore model in which we work as Partsearch Technologies Off-Shore Development partner. The entire effort management is done by an onsite Project Manager.

Client: Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi The Challenge:
Our Solution: We developed the Letter of Credit System as a workflow application, wherein data in the form of standardized documents flows from one stage to another, while the Internet banking application module makes this system available to the clients customer banks through the Internet. The project involved maintaining details of all Letter Of Credit (L/Cs) handled by the bank and subsequent process of L/C advising, authorizing, amendments, stop, transfer, release etc. The system was designed to track all possible kinds of information about any that was L/C issued, negotiated through intricate inter-linking of modules and validation of inter-dependent relationships of different transactions. A Data Porting Tool was devised for porting/replication of data from the existing Sybase database on a Server located within the client's premises to the Web database (SQL Server). The ACU SMILE Voucher Upload System was developed for uploading/migration of PC system data in Sybase SQL Anywhere (PB5.0) to AS/400. Data is processed into vouchers following the logic and standards of the branch accounting. The upload generates a proof list. The uploaded data follows the format and specifications of the client’s SMILE /400 banking application on the AS/400 platform.
Client: ScanBuy The Challenge: A portal that would work on standard bar coding technology and also integrate old bar coding technologies with new e-Business enabled technologies. Our Solution: We developed the portal using ActiveX components, that recognised the scanners and read the scanner data and upload the same, automatically, on to the portal for product matching and order fullfillment. The site works on a B2X model where the vendors provide the product and cost details along with the barcode to the site. Portal users have been provided with the functionality to their own customised catalogue for future purchase and retain a copy of the same thus reducing the search time for any product in the case of repeat orders and orders generated via advertisements.
Client: Aruba The Challenge: Develop a robust web based booking and information-gathering engine to help the airline’s passengers avail of extended services in their target destination including information on the hotels, tariffs and real-time availability status. Our Solution: We developed the web-based application synchronized with their existing desktop application, which is used to configure the regulatory parameters for the entire system. A component was also developed and implemented to monitor the overall synchronization which provided a custom data extraction, transformation and loading tool.
Client: Fisi Madison Financial Services & Benefits Consultants The Challenge: Develop a Data Warehouse Solution Our Solution: We developed TIM (The Information Mall) which is BCI’s Data Warehouse environment. TIM was seen as strategic asset to put systems and applications in place. TIM allowed for automation and consolidation of analysis across several business processes in the value chain. TIM was able to provide the foundation for advanced analysis capabilities by providing a set of data marts with historical information. Our innovative solution has enhanced the decision-making ability of the client. The TIM architecture was designed around a set of star schema, which are implemented in a DB2 database on the IBM AS/400 server. The Data marts were developed in DB2.
Client: VCampus The Challenge: A solution to enable easy management of the enrollment, registration, tracking, testing, grading, administration and certification process of distance learners Our Solution: We developed the necessary modules required to deploy, manage, launch and track (SCORM 1.2 compliant) courses on the existing LMS (Learning Management System) solution. This was designed as a completely outsourced, remotely hosted and totally scalable distance education and training delivery solution. The solution helps the client handle transactional issues, mine the data and get the benefit out of the database system that is being currently used by converting it from just an operational database system to a data warehouse. The Tools & Technology used were Cold Fusion, Java and Informix.
